One of Alliance’s core areas of service and expertise is mammography. Stringent MQSA and ACR guidelines require the reliable and thorough services we provide. Our six MQSA qualified physicists have the experience of surveying hundreds of mammography units of all types and manufacturers every year.

• The mammography training and experience of our physicists is extensive and unmatched. We even have experience and manufacturer training in surveying mammography technology currently in FDA clinical trials.


• Having six MQSA qualified physicists allows us to respond on short notice when your facility is replacing a detector, tube, or processor.


• Alliance goes beyond just filling out forms by hand. All reports are presented in a typed format which is easy to read and understand. These reports include more testing and data than just the bare minimum so your facility can maintain a superior mammography program.


• Phone and e-mail support is always available to our clients. We are always ready to assist you.


• During installations and equipment evaluations we work with service and the installation team to get the job done in an efficient manner.

• Annual Medical Physics Surveys Alliance Medical Physics provides full MQSA and state specific compliant surveys for all mammography equipment. In most cases, we perform additional testing (at no additional cost) which we feel is valuable to quality imaging.


• Medical Physics Equipment Evaluations


• Alliance provides limited surveys for all affected components when required per MQSA regulations (i.e. post equipment repair or replacement)


• Installation of new mammography systems and associated peripherals requires coordination with a Medical Physicist from planning to installation to quality control implementation. Alliance can assist your facility with all stages of the new mammography unit process.


• Quarterly QC Evaluations - In addition to the annual QC program review, when requested or where required, a physicist will review copies of all QC documentation on a quarterly basis.
