• HAZMAT - The US Department of Transportation (DOT) requires that individuals who offer for transportation radioactive material be trained on the regulations of Handling and Transporting Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT). This training is to be performed and documented initially before any employee performs a HAZMAT transportation related function and then at least every three years.
  
  Alliance Medical Physics has prepared a HAZMAT training package that the facility may purchase. The package includes instructions, reference manuals, and a post training quiz on a CD. To receive documentation of training, print the HAZMAT quiz, answer the quiz questions, and submit the completed quiz to Alliance Medical Physics for grading. We will provide a Certificate of Training to the facility for each participant who satisfactorily answers the quiz.
